someone has declared jihad on people's innocent cars & properties in ashrafieh. i guess it's justified because those cars refused to appologize for the silly cartoons and stood there without moving a thumb. but what puzzles me is this : if we could justify all the actions that this angry mob did today (excuses include evil cars with no respect to others, opression, poverty, ignorance, alienation, not having jobs, and the usual suspects..etc) how can we justify that guy throwing a chair all the way to the second floor of that office block to destroy its windows, all live on national television? a friend of mine told me he might have had a bad morning, maybe a fight with his wife, or maybe *it's that day of the month y'know*, or he had too much hommos in the morning and he was temporarly insane. i don't know. or maybe...ponder this...mayb HE'S JUST A MOTHERFUCKING IGNORANT BASTARD WHO GIVES MUSLIMS A BAD NAME AND PROVES THE POINT OF THE CARTOONIST IN THE FIRST PLACE AND THAT PEOPLE LIKE HIM DESERVE TO DIE. or maybe not.

actually yes eve, i posted a comment that just "disappeared", it read:

If it wasn't for that propaganda, it wouldn't have been [planned]/published in the first place..

It is a means to an end, and everyone is following that bait.
Can't they just see they are being skilfully manipulated?!

As many people will have noticed, we've had significant hardware trouble over the past couple days. We have tried to keep all of you informed about the status of the service and our efforts to correct the problems. Unfortunately, today's problems were widespread enough such that we were unable to provide ongoing updates. One of the things we'll be doing in the short term is to come up with ways to prevent this."
